Turbidity in liquids is caused by undissolved substances, for which there are two measuring principles, by dispersed light (Ideal for measuring low turbidity values at high resolution) or by absorption (Ideal for measuring medium to high turbidity values with low resolution).

Turbiscat equipment is designed to measure a low and intermediate turbidity range, using light dispersed at 90º/25º with color compensation.
Benefits include low maintenance costs, simple and accurate calibration using a reference solid, thus avoiding the use of formacine, and a control unit with touch screen and optional color measurement.
The Turbiguard equipment is specialized in measuring the medium and high turbidity thanks to the absorption principle, its installation is simple because it is VARIVENT and has a low maintenance cost and simple calibration thanks to a reference solid.
The Sigrist turbidity measuring devices have a low energy consumption, in addition to a touch screen on which we can observe the alarms generated, the behavior of the process and the measurement in real time. The system integrates easily thanks to its different communication interfaces.

Measurement of turbidity in water We also offer the in-line turbidity measurement for the treatment of TurbiScat water with its free fall method preventing water from touching the optical parts, so it is possible to turn the water over if desired. With the same advantages as other equipment, which means easy calibration thanks to a solid reference and zero maintenance. |

Measurement of turbidity in the laboratory
Sigrist’s Labscat equipment is a laboratory turbidity measuring device, ideal for improving the measurement of turbidity in both end product bottles or special tanks to measure the product at any time of the process. It has a compact design and a reduced weight which facilitates its installation in the laboratory and allows to move it out of the laboratory. Its practical design allows it to reach all the main parts without using tools, and has a special valve that allows a complete drainage of the water. |
The built-in OR panel with color touch screen allows us to have a simple and clean operation, it offers multiple communication possibilities and there is the ability to protect it with a password to prevent unwanted access.
